Readers preparing for recording session

We regret that we have to suspend our production and delivery of the Talking Newspaper on memory sticks. This is due to Government regulations. It is for the safety of everyone to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

We will continue to publish the Talking Newspaper via our Internet services, and resume normal services as soon as possible.

Welcome to the website of Crewe and Nantwich Talking Newspaper for the Visually Impaired.

The Talking Newspaper provides a spoken weekly summary of the Crewe and Nantwich Chronicles, and additional content to about 100 visually impaired listeners. The newspaper is delivered on memory sticks that can be played on your computer, or on a player that we can provide. It is also delivered by a range of Internet services.

It is run by a team of unpaid volunteers who work for a few hours on a four-weekly rota. If you are interested in joining us you can see more about becoming a listener or volunteering.

Audio files on this website are for use by the visually impaired only.
